Mom and Dad

This is mom and dad. Dad, Brady, is on the left. Mom, Mia, is on the right.

Two wet dogs. Brady on the left, Mia on the right.

Brady on the left, Mama Mia on the right. Sorry again about Brady being soooo dirty. And sorry about Mia. She just had puppies so she lost her whole coat. And she is still skinny from breast feeding. But look at her beautiful face and imagine the coat. You can tell she's a pretty girl.

Three of Eight

These are our last three puppies. I was teaching them to sit. They were actually doing pretty well. Try to ignor Brady (dad), he has been ignored for the last 2 months and so is very dirty. I got him cleaned the day after these pictures.

From top to bottom: Brady, Baloo, Stripes, Soda.

Our Cuddlers

This is Day Two of our puppies lives. From the very beginning, Baloo and Soda were cuddle-buddies. You can see them in this picture. Soda has her arm around Baloo and they are cuddling.

This is their last cuddle-session because Soda got sold today. I just thought that it was cute that they still cuddle. Soda is still on the top with her arm around Baloo. Cute, huh?

Seals or Samoyeds??

When I was little...I always, always wanted a baby seal. I think I was even hopeful enough to ask my parents for one. I decided as a small child that when I got older and had my own house and could make my own decisions...I was going to get a baby seal.

On one of my birthdays, my mom got me a stuffed baby seal. I just loved it. In fact, I still have it today (despite my mothers many efforts to throw away my precious stuffed animals. I even dug my stuffed animals out of bins at the DI...). Here's a picture of it:

When I found out that Spencer's favorite zoo animal was the seal...I knew that it was meant to be. That is the only reason that I agreed to marry him...was because he wanted to have a pet seal, too. When I was at Sea World while we were dating, I got him this toy:

I figured that it was perfect. I wanted a baby seal...and he wanted an adult seal. A match made in heaven, right??
Well, I guess that it isn't exactly realistic right now to put in an aquarium with a slide, etc. So that dream will have to wait. I have often ask Spencer if we can have a seal, especially after watching Animal Planet or going to the zoo. He promises me that we will get one someday... In the meantime...I have baby seal look-alikes.
Here are some pictures of our puppies and of baby seals. You tell me which is which!
